Terms of use

Last updated: 2026-10-16

The Spanish version is the reference text. If the two differ, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Who provides the service

The service is provided by the owner named in the legal notice: name or company name, tax ID and address. For anything at all, write to [email protected].

In these terms, “Grappl” and “we” are that owner, and “you” is the person who signs up for the service.

2. The service

Grappl is a paid VPN subscription.

2.1 Plans

We offer one or more subscription plans. The price, billing period and data included in each plan are the ones you see when you buy and on your account page. If your plan has a data limit and you use it up, the connection pauses until it renews. Your account page shows your plan, how much data you’ve used and how much is left.

If we change the terms of a plan (price, data or anything else), we tell you 30 days ahead (clauses 5 and 9).

2.2 Servers

You can use the service on your own devices, with the servers and protocols we offer at any given time. We may add, change or remove servers and protocols to keep the service good or because of blocking.

Traffic on our premium servers (marked ⚡ in the app) counts in full against your data. Traffic on our standard servers may count only in part. Your account page shows how much you’ve used and how much counts. If the proportion changes, we tell you 30 days ahead (clause 9).

2.3 Availability

We don’t promise the service works in every country or that networks won’t block it. If a server is blocked, we replace it. Your connection also depends on your network and your country, which we don’t control.

We may carry out maintenance that causes short interruptions; we try to keep them brief. You can check the service status at any time.

None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer (clause 7).

3. Your account

Your account is identified by a 16-digit number. It is your login: there is no password. Keep it somewhere safe. Anyone who has the number can use your account.

4. Acceptable use and local laws

Don’t use Grappl for spam, attacks, fraud, torrenting or any illegal activity, and don’t share your account with other people.

Rules about VPN use differ between countries. You are responsible for following the law of the country you connect from.

5. Price, payment and renewal

The prices you see when you buy are final and include VAT. Stripe handles payment; we never see your card details.

Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, at the price you saw when you bought. We tell you about each renewal at least 15 days ahead, at the email you gave when you paid.

If we change the price or the data of your plan, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

Cancelling is as easy as buying: there is a button on your account page and no extra steps. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

6. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days of buying, without giving a reason. When you pay, you expressly ask us to start the service straight away. If you withdraw, we refund what you paid minus the share for the time you have already used the service.

You can withdraw in two ways:

We refund the amount within 14 days at most, to the same payment method you used.

You may use this form, but you don’t have to:

To Grappl Support, [email protected].

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the Grappl service.

7. Guarantee and liability

These terms don’t limit the rights the law gives you as a consumer, including those about conformity of digital services. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. This limit does not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

8. Suspension and ending

We may suspend your account if you break the acceptable use rules. Where possible, we email you first. If we stop providing the service, we refund the part you haven’t used.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we tell you 30 days ahead by email or on your account page. If you disagree, you can cancel.

10. Complaints

Write to [email protected] and we will answer within one month at most. You can also go to the consumer services of your region in Spain or to the consumer arbitration board.

11. Law and courts

Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction, and you keep the protection of the law of the EU country where you live.
